This website has no audience measurement, no trackers and no cookie banner: it doesn’t need them.

The only personal data processed is what you send through the brief form, plus your IP address when you visit the site or start a film.

No data is sold, passed on or used for advertising. No profiling, no automated decisions.

About the project: the type of project and a few lines describing it; if you fill them in, the date or period and the location.

About you: your name and email address; if you fill them in, your organisation and phone number.

The form adds the page language and a timestamp, used to filter out automated submissions.

This data serves one purpose: reading your brief, replying and, if you wish, preparing a proposal. It is not used for prospecting.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The form goes through a function hosted by Cloudflare, which passes it to Resend, an email delivery service set up to send from the European Union. The brief then lands in my business mailbox, hosted by Google Workspace, where I read it myself. The website keeps no copy.

Cloudflare, which hosts the website, also processes visitors’ IP addresses to serve the pages and protect the site against abuse (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cloudflare, Resend and Google act as processors, on my behalf and under my instructions. They are US companies, so data may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers are covered by GDPR safeguards (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

A brief and the exchanges that follow are kept for 24 months after the last contact, then deleted.

If a project goes ahead, the data needed for the quote and invoicing is kept for as long as Belgian accounting law requires.

When you choose a language with the language switch, the site sets a cookie named “lang” that remembers your choice for one year. It holds the language code and nothing else.

It is the only cookie this website sets. It is functional, set at your request, and not used for measurement or tracking.

The films are hosted on Vimeo. Until you click a film, nothing is requested from Vimeo: the image you see comes from this website.

On click, the Vimeo player loads with the “dnt=1” setting, which stops it tracking the session or collecting statistics. Your IP address is then sent to Vimeo, which may set a few cookies needed for playback. From that point, the privacy policy of Vimeo, a company based in the United States, applies.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive a copy in a common format. An email to thomas@pixelshake.be is enough.
