At a conference, everyone sees one room at a time. My images tell the whole day, to those who were there and to everyone else.

What you get, and when.

  • A first set of photos during the conference, to post live.
  • Interviews of about a minute, cut for LinkedIn, on the day where possible, otherwise within a week.
  • The full gallery, retouched, online within five working days.
  • The aftermovie within a week, in landscape and portrait.

Expect at least 100 retouched photos for 2 hours of coverage, 225 for 4 hours and more than 300 for a full day. These are guidelines: everything can be adapted, and I’m happy to talk it through with you.

How a conference day runs.

  1. Beforehand

You and I agree on the moments that matter: the plenary, the panels, the speakers and partners not to miss, and what your comms team will publish, where and when.

  2. Arrivals

I arrive before the audience to photograph the venue and the signage, then registration, badges and the first handshakes.

  3. The plenary

The whole room to show the scale, then each speaker up close, when the gesture carries the point. In a protocol setting, I stay out of the way of delegations and on-site teams.

  4. Panels and parallel rooms

On panels, I wait for the exchange rather than the pose. When several rooms run at once, I bring in a dedicated photographer and videographer, and you keep one contact.

  5. Between sessions

Networking in the foyer, and short interviews with speakers or partners, in English, French or Dutch. A first set of photos is already on its way to your team.

The price

From €400 excl. VAT for 2 hours of coverage.

These are guidelines: everything can be adapted, and I’m happy to talk it through with you.

The questions that keep coming up.

The aftermovie runs up to one minute, with music and no voice-over, and subtitles on speaker soundbites. The photos are delivered in a private online gallery.

How much does a conference photographer cost?

From €400 excl. VAT for 2 hours of coverage. The price then depends on the length of the day, the number of rooms and the videos you add: interviews, aftermovie. These are guidelines: everything can be adapted, and I’m happy to talk it through with you.

When do I get the photos?

A first set during the conference, to post live. The full retouched gallery follows within five working days, the interviews and the aftermovie within a week. These are guidelines: they can be adapted to your schedule, and I’m happy to talk it through.

Do you work outside Brussels?

Yes. I’m based in Brussels and cover conferences across Belgium and in Luxembourg, and occasionally elsewhere in Europe.

What if several rooms run at the same time?

Depending on scale, I shoot photo and video myself or bring in a dedicated photographer and a dedicated videographer I’ve worked with for years. At scoping, you and I pick out the sessions that matter. You keep one contact, from brief to delivery.

Which languages are the interviews in?

The speaker’s own: English, French or Dutch. I conduct interviews in all three. Subtitles are optional, and I can translate them into almost any language.

How can we use the images?

By default, the images are for your social channels and website. A full transfer of rights is arranged when the contract requires it, which is often the case with institutions and public tenders.
